business network currently includes an in-house Manufacturing Division, a
product Quality Assurance and Engineering Department, a strategic system
of 12 Distribution Centers

Fastenal specializes in industrial and construction power tools and equipment
with local delivery. We offer service at your job site, as well as a
full-service tool repair center, and knowledgeable tool specialists to help

State of the Art Technology
To ensure the efficiency of Fastenal and its systems, we
have invested in state of the art technology. By employing bar-coded bin labels
in our inventory control, we are able to stock and replenish product with
maximum efficiency. Our in-house programming and technical staff interface with
purchasing and invoicing, and we even custom design reports to meet the
specialized needs of our customers.
We also offer Electronic Data Interchange (EDI),
Electronic Commerce, Electronic Invoicing (EI), and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
for the most efficient and cost-effective business transactions available. Our
Manufacturing and Regrind divisions also use state of the art computer
technology in the CNC equipment that they use. Fastenal has historically made
technology a priority, and will continue to invest in the future in order to
